In 1926 his body was translated to the church of the Workmen he built in 1986, the Church recognizes the heroic virtues and October 12, 1997 Pope John Paul II declared him Blessed. On October 21, 2012 Pope Benedetto XVI declared him Saint. The liturgical celebration is April 26.
